Fourth Series of Making Conversations Podcast
Robyn and I were delighted to work again with the wonderful ACJSNI to produce four episodes to coincide with their beautiful 2022 exhibition 'Collectibles & Curiosities'. It was another exciting project and we couldn't wait to get started! This series was supported through funding from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
The first episode features Making Conversations Podcast regular Anne Earls Boylan who introduces the Collectibles & Curiosities Exhibition from ACJSNI. Within this episode we also hear from four makers who's work is selected for the exhibition; Céline Traynor, Mária Roskó, Eva Lynch & Carol Bergocce.
For the second episode we made conversations with Goldsmith Shannon McShane, who co-curated the 2022 ACJSNI Collectibles & Curiosities Exhibition. Within this episode we also hear three maker clips from those who's work is selected for the exhibition; Shannon McShane, Gerhard Herbst & Cameron & Breen
For episode three we made conversations with art jeweller and designer maker Clodagh Molloy, who talks to us about her making practice and her work as part of the Collectibles & Curiosities Exhibition. Within this episode we also hear three maker clips from participants of the exhibition: Rosie Deegan, Clodagh Molloy & Carmen López.
For our final episode we make conversations with contemporary jeweller and ACJSNI secretary Lotus de Wit, who talks about her making journey, her practice and the latest exhibition from the group. Within this episode we also hear three maker clips from participants of the exhibition: Alena Štukavcová Doležalová, Anne Earls Boylan and Taylor Fentz.
Collectibles & Curiosities opens Thursday 10 November 2022 at Craft NI Gallery, Belfast and continues until Friday 30 December 2022
